Remembrance at Minster
Minster in Sheppey Primary School marked Remembrance Day by holding a special assembly and undertaking several activities. The school made their own Cenotaph and wreaths were laid as a mark of respect during the assembly. Pupils' learning this week focused on the history of Armistice Day. they also made poppies and wrote messages of appreciation to all those who have lost their lives in World Wars, which were attached to the school fence to create a sea of poppies prior to the school opening on Thursday morning. The school also sold merchandise on behalf of the Royal British Legion to help raise money for this important charity.
