Red Nose Day at TILT...
Fri 26 Mar 2021On Friday 19th March our children at Minster enjoyed a fun-packed day celebrating Red Nose Day 2021, raising over £500 for this fabulous cause! The children had an amazing day and our budding chef's took part in the Great Minster Bake Off, creating some spectacular culinary delights inspired by the Red Nose. The cakes looked delicious and we think Mary Berry herself would have been suitably impressed!
The children also had a non-uniform day coming to school dressed in spots, stripes and wacky hair - the multi-coloured hair designs were super impressive!
At Sunny Bank, the children dressed up as Superheroes which led into a Big Write drive where the children had to create and write about their own superhero who could join The Avengers.
Every class was visited by Batman, Batgirl and Superman who celebrated super-human efforts in the presentation, length and handwriting of each child's work!
The passion, excitement and buzz around the school was amazing and some high quality pieces of writing were produced.
A big
THANK YOU
to all our children, parents and carers for your support!

Seeds of hope for our returning children...
Mon 08 Mar 2021On Monday morning, TILT Heads of School will deliver an assembly to all classes via Zoom using ‘Rain before Rainbows’ by Smriti Halls and David Litchfield as a means of promoting the message that this is a time for growth and new beginnings, to reconnect with friends, recapture learning, re-establish routines and realise opportunities.
After the assembly, all pupils will take part in an activity where they will paint a plant pot and plant seeds of hope.
Lynne Lewis, co-Head of School at Minster Primary School explains, “Each year group has been given a different type of seed associated with different colours such as sunflower and poppy seeds. When they flower across the seven year groups, we will see the rainbow that we have planted.”Return to school: Equipment ready for our children to plant a seed of hope...

Bears Everywhere!
Mon 08 Mar 2021A message from Debbie Wheeler, our CEO...
What an amazing carnival atmosphere in our schools today! Our schools are alive with the sound of children! What a joy!
I am privileged to lead the TILT team, proud and humbled by the very real commitment I have seen: 110% dedication with provision of learning challenges, support and guidance for our children and their parents: teachers leading learning, teaching assistants leading in school Key Worker provision, our office teams, cleaners, caretakers, central team, FLOs, SENCOs and our unswerving leaders. The interrelatedness of my amazing team has been in sharp focus throughout this period: every part of our work jigsaw has continued to deliver at a time of high anxiety and great uncertainty.
The TILT team are united and this enabled the delivery of awesome provision for our young people. Colleagues have been selfless in their care and generous with their time for our most vulnerable pupils. I am proud and impressed by individual contributions, in each of our schools: we have indeed delivered for our children and families.
How proud am I of our children, parents and my tremendous TILT Team..
